Statement of Significance
"Terry Milligan is a San Francisco born Mongarlowe resident. After many years and many occupations on many continents he discovered the Braidwood area in the early 1970s. Returning there twenty years later, he and Carol built and ran the Mongarlowe General Store cafe and gallery from 1994 until 1999. During that time he became intimately acquainted with the community. A self-taught photographer, he has been taking pictures and printing his work for 30 years. An intermittent Buddhist, he is the father of a son and two daughters."
